​Tom Glassic is an Independent Consultant for Wright Flood, and is a native Washingtonian.  After a decade in a private insurance regulatory and government relations practice, Tom served as Senior Insurance Counsel to House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) throughout the 2008 financial crisis and the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act. After leaving Congress, Tom returned to private practice before being appointed as the General Counsel of the District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking. Tom left public service in 2013 and became Vice President, Policy & Government Affairs at the now American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA). In fall 2016, Tom left APCIA to join a presidential campaign and has since represented a variety of financial services organizations on insurance public policy issues. Tom serves as Secretary of the National Flood Association and is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the George Washington University Law School.
