Trade organizations unite to call on congress to renew NFIP program.

The NFA has joined 13 other leading trade organizations in the flood industry to call for Congress to prioritize the reauthorization and future stability of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). A lapse in NFIP's is highly disruptive to mortgage and commercial lending, to flood hazard communication and to the crucial flood insurance coverage upon which millions of citizens rely. Our organizations stand in support of a viable NFIP and a multi-year reauthorization of the program with meaningful reforms.
