FEMA Announces $1 Billion in Federal Funding to Help States Mitigate Impact of Disasters

FEMA announced on March 25th that the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program will be reinstated and supported by $1 billion in federal funding.  The BRIC program is available to states, local governments, territories and Tribal Nations, empowering them to take decisive, proactive steps to protect their communities from potential disasters like fires, floods, earthquakes and hurricanes.
