Leila has more than 25 years of experience in the flood industry, having worked for firms in flood zone determination, Write-Your-Own vendor, and private market insurance arenas. Her experience spans a range of disciplines including product development, business systems management, sales and marketing, operations
oversight, customer relations, and compliance.

 

Leila has also served on the National Flood Association’s Board of Directors since 2003, including as President for five terms. She has supported NFA’s communications, conference planning and educational efforts as well as facilitated collaborative efforts with FEMA and other affiliated organizations across the industry. Leila is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent and has earned the Associate in National Flood Insurance (ANFI) designation, a
digital marketing certificate from Columbia University and a B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
