Cheryl Small is a member of the National Flood Association (NFA) and serves as its Executive Director. She has served multiple terms as president of NFA and was instrumental in the Association's adoption of a certification program. Ms. Small recently served as a member of the Technical Mapping Advisory Council. She is also Chief Consultant with Small Consulting Services.

 

Previously, Ms. Small was employed in the flood zone determination and mortgage compliance industry as a Business Leader for several market leaders in this industry. Ms. Small has been active in the insurance and flood determination industry for over 35 years, holding positions in operations management, sales, product and business development. She has been involved as a stakeholder of the NFIP since 1985 and was responsible for the WYO Flood Program for a leading insurer.
